The pilot overseas internships, sponsored by the MOE Taiwan, which is intended to subsidize those students to gain experiences in an overseas enterprise or professional institute. Those students are selected by their university. The goal of the program is to give recipients opportunities to conduct practical training in an overseas enterprise or institute and extend their vision.
This year, there are five excellent students participated in the program form Kun Shan University. They will spend their time in few New York accounting firm and financial institutions. In addition to studying at the New York accounting firm, how to help customers to save taxes and tax returns, through the Hou CPA arrangements, they have been visited Merrill Lynch, Amerasia Bank, East West Bank and Cathay bank, and in the exchange with relevant professionals, via the observation and learning, to understand the increasingly fierce competition in banks and emerging financial technology (FinTech) in New York.
Students through the internship program, expand overseas horizons and learn how to respond to financial and technological changes, and strive to become a competent and professional financial personnel goals.
TECO-NY Education Acting Director Jennifer Wang arranged the welcoming party for the students group and showed her appreciation to Prof. Ouyang and encouragement to the students. She mentioned that these students are full of passion and motivated. They should use this golden opportunity to study in a foreign nation and take in the allure and culture of a new land. She wished everyone’s dream come true in the future.
